All of the information in the report comes from the answers of 2,207 IT professionals who participated in the online survey from September 19, 2023 to October 10, 2023. Do not include/combine figures from any other sources.
Qualified respondents are ITviec users and from other sources that do not relate to ITviec platform, who are living and working in Vietnam. The report does not include IT freelancers and people who do not work in IT.

This year’s report stands out with an expanded scope, covering 25 IT positions, an increase of 8 positions from the previous year edition. The larger sample size, now at 2,207 respondents, reflects a 76% increase compared to last year’s report, providing more robust insights into salary trends, demographics, and regional variations. However, this substantial increase has also influenced the shifts of several crucial findings related to salaries by city and demographic factors.

Although significant efforts have been made to ensure the representative sample size, it is important to note that certain statistics, particularly those regarding the percentage of salary increase expectations in specific IT positions, might be affected by a limited number of respondents in those positions.
