Terms & Conditions for ITviec’s Surveys

INTRODUCTION

  1. ITviec conducts surveys in which participants can voluntarily respond to questions regarding IT-related topics.
    The surveys are online questionnaires created on reliable third-party platforms for the purpose of conducting market research and gathering information on technology. The rewards for each survey are determined by ITviec in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The reward schemes that are frequently encountered include:
    – Participant(s) receive immediate mobile top-up upon survey completion (hereinafter referred to as “Instant mobile top-up”).
    – Participant(s) receive a certain amount of VIP Club points upon survey completion (hereinafter referred to as “VIP Club Points granted”).
    – Participant(s) will have the opportunity to enter a lucky draw for a chance to receive one of the following rewards including mobile top-up, free hot job credit, ITviec T-shirt, voucher from ITviec’s Partners. The selection process will be conducted randomly once the survey period has concluded (hereinafter referred to as “Lucky draw reward”).
    – Participant(s) will have the opportunity to enter a lucky draw for a chance to receive a cash incentive. The selection process will be conducted randomly once the survey period has concluded (hereinafter referred to as “Lucky draw cash incentive”).
  2. By taking part in ITviec’s Surveys, Participant(s) have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. Participant(s) also acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions herein including any terms and conditions that may be adjusted or terminated in the future by ITviec. Participant(s) further agree that all decisions of ITviec shall be final and conclusive.
  3. ITviec retains the right to revise, modify, or otherwise alter these terms and conditions at any time in the future. The decision that ITviec makes will be final. There will be no response given to any correspondence that is related to the decision that was reached by ITviec.
  4. If ITviec fails to enforce any of these terms and conditions in any given situation, that does not provide any person or party the right to file a claim against them.

SURVEY TYPE AND PERIOD

ITviec conducts these surveys annually:

  1. IT Salary Survey
    Target Participant(s): ITviec Users and IT Professionals, IT Students in Vietnam
    – Survey Period: Typically start from May to July and from September to October
    – Survey Methodology: Online questionnaire
    – Reward Scheme: One or several schemes including Instant mobile top-up and/or Lucky draw mobile top-up, voucher from ITviec’s Partner, ITviec T-shirt
  2. IT Recruiting Trends Survey/IT Recruitment Survey
    – Target Participant(s): ITviec Employers and IT Recruiters/HR Management Professionals in Vietnam
    – Survey Period: Typically start from January to February and/or May to July and/or August to October
    – Survey Methodology: Online questionnaire
    – Reward Scheme: One or several schemes including VIP Club point granted and/or Lucky draw free hot job credit in lucky companies accounts, mobile top-up, voucher from ITviec’s Partner
  3. Mini Survey
    – Target Participant(s): IT Professionals/IT Recruiters in Vietnam
    – Survey Period: Typically start from May and end in June
    – Survey Methodology: Online questionnaire
    – Reward Scheme: Lucky draw mobile top-up or Lucky draw cash incentive

ITviec ensures that the precise date and time for the survey period, reward information and terms and conditions are communicated clearly and proactively reminded to the Participant(s) during each survey period.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. The surveys conducted by ITviec can be accessed by either single or multiple groups of Participant(s) including:
    – ITviec’s Users
    – ITviec’s Employers
    – Other Users who voluntarily subscribe to ITviec’s subsequent emails and further communications, and consent to ITviec’s terms and conditions to contact them and send subsequent emails and further communication.
    – Other Professionals who are interested in providing their input to improve the market information of the IT industry in Vietnam.
  2. In order to comply with Eligibility Requirements, it is necessary for Participant(s) to meet the criteria outlined below:
    – Participant(s) must be 18 years of age or older at the survey start date. If selected as winners of the lucky draw, Participant(s) may be asked to provide proof of their age.
    – Participant(s) are sent invitation emails by ITviec, which include encrypted links to surveys, or access through public links. Participant(s) stay updated about ITviec’s surveys by regularly checking the communications shared through direct channels such as email, phone number, and messaging, as well as public channels like social media platforms and the website.

RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANT(S)

  1. Participant(s) agree to willingly and actively engage in responding to the surveys’ questionnaires, without any form of coercive intervention from ITviec.
  2. Participant(s) hereby acknowledge and agree to provide truthful and precise responses to the questions presented in the surveys. Providing inaccurate or inconsistent responses is considered a breach of the terms and conditions.
  3. Participant(s) have the option to decline participation in a survey for which they have received an invitation.
  4. Participant(s) agree to refrain from engaging in any fraudulent activities, including but not limited to, taking surveys on behalf of others or getting others to take surveys on their behalf.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

By choosing to take part in the surveys conducted by ITviec, Participant(s) hereby give their consent for ITviec’s Privacy Policy, as well as permission for the collection, processing, utilization, and disclosure of their personal data or information by ITviec and its partners involved in the survey. 

This consent is given for the sole purpose of producing and publishing the survey report and insights, which may include activities such as publicity, advertising, marketing, and other related purposes. It is important to note that Participant(s) will not receive any form of extra payment or compensation for their participation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. The intellectual property rights associated with the survey questionnaires and survey-related content mentioned in this document belong to ITviec. These rights are protected by copyright laws and international agreements. The parties involved maintain ownership of the corresponding Intellectual Property Rights associated with the surveys.
  2. ITviec will retain full ownership of any Intellectual Property Rights and interests associated with the content provided by respondents, regardless of the manner in which it is submitted in the surveys. 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. These general terms and conditions shall be applicable to all surveys conducted by ITviec, both ongoing and in the future.
  2. ITviec reserves the right to take appropriate action against any user who engages in abusive behavior during the survey. This includes, but is not limited to, suspicious activities or attempts to bypass the terms and conditions stated herein.
  3. ITviec will not be held liable for any consequences that may arise from any inaccuracies in the information provided by the Participant(s) for survey purposes, including verification, as stated in these Terms and Conditions.
  4. The names of the winning Participant(s) who are selected will be contacted through an official email at a time and date that ITviec considers appropriate.
  5. ITviec will deliver the promised rewards to the winners using the contact information that they have provided to ITviec. In the event that a winner modifies their contact information after providing it, it will be regarded as a “failure to contact.” Consequently, the respective rewards will be awarded to any other Participant(s) chosen solely at the discretion of ITviec.
  6. Participation in ITviec’s surveys represents acceptance of these terms and conditions.
